More relaxtion

Now that I'm procrastinating on homework I decided to whip up a little spell for relaxation and just a way to clear your mind. Not necassarily and "on the spot" spell, but will hold more power and a longer effect.

Let me have a crack at it. This is an opportunity to sort of see my spell making process. I will leave up the crossed out and the thrown away words and phrases.

Goddess banish my worries nigh
Swept away by and by
Clear my mind,
Clear my soul,
Take with it the day's toll.
Let my worries fall just nigh
Into the earth, the roots awry,
Carry them far away from me,
Through the gnarled life of trees.

Semesters are starting, internships, new jobs, CHANGE in general. All these thing most definitely pile up and cause us all to freak the fuck out. So today's entry is going to be about relaxing, calming yourself down, de-stressing.

I haven't had the chance to write my own, but I found nice simple one that goes along with the style I seem to have.

Relaxation Spell

Chant this 3 or more times whenever feeling worried or scared:

"Magick, Magick, unto me, hear me now, my soul be free."

The VERY first spell I ever wrote. Probably around 1999? 2000? Anywho, considering the current elements I figured this spell would be appropriate to post now.

The spell itself can work alone just as a chant to help bring power to the skies. But for added potency try burning a fern with the flames of a blue candle.

Rain Spell
Element of Water hear my cry
This place is way to dry,
Make it rain, make it wetter,
I pray and ask for rainy weather.

Beauty Spell

This spell was written while waiting to get my oil changed the other day...hahaha. Its a basic spell to help enhance your beauty and build your confidence. (Guys feel free to use it to! Boys need to feel beautiful too!)

I recommend saying it before bed, and let it work over night.

Sit in front of your a mirror (or altar) light one pink candle.

Beauty Spell
Goddess bless me with your light
Bestow upon me your love this night
Let my beauty shine complete
Negative light now retreat.
I seal my beauty
I bind it in place
May everyday be blessed with your grace.

Healing Another's Heart

When I originally wrote this spell I used the pronoun "her" because I was aiming for a specific person, however to make it more accessible to others I changed the pronoun to "their".

Healing Another's Heart
Healing their heart, heal their pain
Remove the hurt as the moon wanes.
Bring them warmth from my soul
Goddess light to make them whole.
I give them strength times three
Heal their heart, so mote it be.

Initiation

Over the past several months I seem to have found a renewed draw towards the Wiccan faith. There is something there, something innate, something so raw that I cannot turn away. The idea of being connected with the earth, and bending it to help others seems too good to be true. A religion tailored to the individual. There are no rules, merely suggestions, and it is ever changing with the times and practitioner. Basically, what I am starting here is a blog to encompass all my findings on my path to true harmony, and the spells I decide to write.
